Anti-theft Detection

Project Abstract:

In order to identify and stop theft instances, the "Anti Theft Detection" project plans to build and create a system. Various sensors, cameras, and algorithms will be used by the system to monitor and find anomalous activities. Once a violation is found, the system will sound an alarm and contact the relevant authorities. A record of the occurrence will be made by the system for future investigation, and it will also give the appropriate parties real-time updates. Improved environment security and effective theft incidence prevention are the goals of this project.

Project Background:

Our IOT-based theft detection project on the Raspberry Pi makes use of image processing on real-time video to identify theft using motion and to highlight the region where motion happened. By promptly identifying theft and enabling users to watch the details of the theft, this technology protects offices and households from theft. The video is then saved on a USB drive and the highlighted details are highlighted. A camera, a Raspberry Pi, a circuit with an LCD display, IR lights for night vision, and a USB drive for storage are all used in this system.
